He's not being serious. He's just trying to get a reaction. I reckon he's just coming up with the dumbest ideas he possibly can, just to see what you'll say.

GS's last comment about ninjas being in Asia has me stumped though. There were aliens ID-4, but they didn't go into outer space to find them.

Why is there so many people who hate Rodriguez on the boards. Surely it is he who has made it possible for so many guaerilla filmmakers to pave the way for themselves.
Generic Skinhead was actually talking about a poster a while ago who only talked about how much he loved Robert Rodriguez.
I don't think anyone really hates Rodriguez, in my eyes he's just the epitome of Hollywood director, that's why he had so much success. When he made El Mariachi it was clear that he could direct visually but I don't think he has any talent for directing performance. Hollywood wanted to mould him into the new Michael Bay. Fair enough if all he wants to direct are action movies with no substance, but I don't think he'll ever make a really fantastic stoy and performance based film. But who knows? I will admit to Rodriguez being a massive inspiration to me when I first knew I wanted to become a director, though.
